John Souttar medical scheduled as he agrees personal terms for Rangers exit
John Souttar is on his way out of Rangers after agreeing a three-year deal with Aris Thessaloniki.
Derek McInnes confirmed on Thursday that the 29-year-old centre-back has been attracting attention from countries where the transfer window is still open.
Greek clubs still have until 15 September to sign new players, and Souttar looks set to make the move to the Super League "in the coming days".
That's because it's been reported in Greece that the Scotland international is due to travel to Thessaloniki before the end of the week to undergo a medical and complete the "final formal procedures".
Souttar joined Rangers in 2022 and has made 132 appearances for the Gers across all competitions.
Now, the former Hearts and Dundee United man looks set to join the fourth club of his career.

Greek news outlet Sport24 has reported that Souttar is "preparing to officially become a player" for Aris.
It is understood that he's due to sign a three-year deal with the Macedonia club, who finished fifth in the Greek Super League last season.
While it doesn't say what fee Aris are paying Rangers in this report, another Greek outlet called BN Sports has revealed that around £1million is being paid.

Ultimately, this is a player who hasn't made any of McInnes' matchday squads this season, with a decision clearly being made in the summer that he'll be moving on.
Souttar's contract was due to expire next year anyway, so selling him now for £1m is better than keeping him in the reserves all season and then letting him go for nothing in 2027.
It was only in February, however, that his contract was extended until the end of next season, and Rangers would have had the option to add an extra year if they wished.
He's not had an amazing time at Ibrox - who has over the last four years? - but he is an experienced head and one that the Gers could find themselves missing as the season progresses.
