What Derek McInnes told Rangers players in team meeting after 'bad' results
Derek McInnes is adamant that Rangers can still win silverware this season despite a stuttering start to the campaign.
The Light Blues are out of Europe after losing in the Europa League and Conference League qualifiers to Jagiellonia and Jablonec, respectively.
Combined with that, the Govan side drew and lost their opening two Scottish Premiership matches.
However, they're now back to winning ways having emerged victorious three times in a row in the league against Aberdeen, Falkirk and Motherwell.
Speaking ahead of the St Mirren showdown and back-to-back Old Firm meetings with Celtic, Emmanuel Fernandez has revealed the mood behind the scenes at Ibrox.

McInnes hasn't shied away from the fact that Rangers' start to the 2026-27 season hasn't been good enough.
And neither has Fernandez.
As quoted by the Scottish Sun, the Rangers defender has admitted that not only his own form could be better, but also the team's as a whole.
He's also revealed how McInnes still hopes to win trophies this term.
“I feel like the togetherness is getting better," said the 24-year-old Nigeria international.
“And I feel like as a team, maybe our performances haven’t been better from the Aberdeen game, but we’ve grown as a team.
“We’re growing and I still think there’s more to come.
“Look, obviously we had a bad start not being in Europe. It was difficult.
“The manager spoke to us and showed us that there’s still three trophies that are available to win.
“We have a domestic charge that we can still push for and be confident where we have the possibility of doing something great."
How the next two weeks can define McInnes' future and Rangers' season
Even though he's led Rangers to three wins in a row in the Scottish Premiership, the heat is still on McInnes.
It's the case with every Rangers manager, really.
But to be knocked out of Europe before September is particularly embarrassing and it's no doubt a financial setback that could take a while to recover from.
However, the current form is improving. Things aren't great as the Gers are only picking up marginal wins. They are wins, though.
St Mirren will be a test on Wednesday, they've started well, and it goes without saying how big the two Celtic games are.
Lose both of them, that's definitely one trophy that won't be won, and potentially two.
It might also mean the end of a very brief spell in charge at Ibrox for McInnes.
