Rangers fans will love what devastated Chris Sutton has said about Celtic
Rangers managed to keep their six-point gap with Celtic after the 0-0 draw in the Old Firm derby.
Going into the international break, the Gers got off to their worst league start in over four decades after their fourth consecutive draw in the William Hill Premiership against Celtic at Ibrox.
The Hoops are level on points with Hearts, with Derek McInnes’ tenure at the Jambos impressing many during the initial weeks of the season.
On the other hand, Russell Martin is under extreme pressure already at Ibrox, yet the door is still open for the Scottish manager to do something special in G51.

Chris Sutton tips Rangers still in title race after Celtic transfer window
Celtic have had one of their worst transfer windows after failing to replace the likes of Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah, Chris Sutton says.
The former England ace believes the Hoops have let the Gers back into the title race after failing to invest in their team before deadline day.
With 13 new players arriving at Ibrox since Martin took charge of the Light Blues, fans in G51 will hope the Scottish manager can turn the tide despite the poor start due to Celtic’s own struggles.
Speaking on the Record Sport Celtic Podcast on 2 September, Sutton said: “I can’t recall them having a worse transfer window, and it’s the knock-on implications of it. First of all, they have let Rangers — and if you want to include Hearts — well and truly into a title race. There’s no doubt about it.”

Russell Martin sack on cards at Ibrox
Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises have seemingly backed Martin for now, but things could potentially change in the coming weeks.
The Gers will return to action on 13 September against Hearts, which will undoubtedly be a significant test for the former Southampton boss at Ibrox.
In the Europa League, the Light Blues have the likes of Genk, Roma, Braga and Porto to contend with if they want to get to the knockout stages.
- The Gers have four points on the table this season after four games.
- In the league, the Light Blues have scored three goals and conceded three.
- Celtic and Hearts are unbeaten in the William Hill Premiership with three wins and one draw each.
Martin may not have much time left at Rangers if he can’t get some positive results on board quickly, with the fans already growing increasingly frustrated with his tactics.
The travelling supporters made their voices heard during the defeat against Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Celtic’s issues may have bought the ex-Saints boss some time in the Ibrox dugout, but only clawing up the table will convince fans in G51 that the Scottish manager is the right man for the job.
